Meet the Board
Laura McGuire - President
Laura McGuire is the parent of a 4rd grader at Kennedy Elementary. As a former teacher, she is committed to helping our school be a welcoming and nurturing environment for all students and their families. In addition to too many volunteer roles, she enjoys hiking, baking, and reading when she should be doing other things.
Tianna Klemons - Vice president
Lauren Kuhl - Secretary
Lauren Kuhl is the parent of a 4th grader at Kennedy. She works in local government public policy.
Karen Scott - Treasurer
Karen Scott is the parent of a 4th and 5th grader at Kennedy. Karen enjoys gardening, baking, watching guilty pleasure shows on TLC and Wordle. Karen is an accounting assistant at a local motor sales and repair company.
Joanna Schuth - Member at Large
Joanna Schuth is the parent of a 4th grader at Kennedy Elementary. She is an academic advisor at UW-Madison and has been a citizen of Madison since 2007. She believes strongly in public schools and the good they do for the community.
Outside of work and PTO, Joanna enjoys chaos gardening, knitting things her child won’t wear, and playing classical music at an unreasonable volume.
Amanda anderson - Member at Large
Amanda Anderson has a son going into first grade this fall and a 4 year old. She is currently in school for Human Services and hope to work with families in some capacity in the future.
